Fleece Nose Hackamore Trim kit halters and breastplates for ponyA hackamore is often referred to as a bitless bridle because it is a bridle that works without a bit in the hores's mouth. Hackamores provide control from the long shanks at each side. The shanks exert pressure at different points of the horse's head the nose, chin groove, and poll, compared to a traditional bit which applies pressure to the bars of the horse's mouth. Our Fleece Nose Hackamore is a gentle action hackamore with 7" chrome plated cheeks
