Simpson SS3 Double 2x Stud Shoe - Galvanized DSC Drag Strut Connectors Whether you're installing steel framingHSS SS Simpson Stud Shoes are designed specifically to reinforce wall studs that have been notched for plumbing work and other modifications. Made from 16 gauge steel with a galvanized finish, these stud shoes are easily installed and do provide additional tension load capacity and strength.
