beautifully striped Nepenthes truncata (c) from Exotica Plants

Kinabalu and other neighboring mountains within Kinabalu National Park in Sabah

Nepenthes mira has some of the most beautiful coloration of any species in the genus

our spectacular “alata” (Giant x Luzon)* put out a large spike which we promptly pollinated with Nepenthes truncata(c)-Giant

The uppers are similar to the lowers but totally cream colored

Nepenthes talangensis x glandulifera, BE-3665 lowland beautifully striped Nepenthes truncata (c)Nepenthes hybrids tend to exhibit a great degree of hybrid vigor but glandulifera hybrids seem to be in a category of their own. Perhaps its the fact that glandulifera is so isolated in its habitat on Bukit Batu (to our knowledge Chien Lee has been the only intrepid soul brave enough to climb up the intimidating rock face where this species was discovered). We have found this plant to be incredibly vigorous under intermediate and highland conditions.
